Partner with EMAP to Strengthen National Preparedness
The Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP) invites mission-aligned organizations to participate in the Strategic Preparedness Partner Program, a unique opportunity to support national preparedness while engaging directly with the emergency management community through education and knowledge-sharing.
This program is designed for organizations that are committed to advancing resilience, supporting emergency management professionals, and contributing to a stronger, more coordinated preparedness ecosystem.
Why Partner with EMAP
As the national standard for emergency management accreditation, EMAP plays a critical role in strengthening capabilities across state, local, and territorial programs. Strategic Preparedness Partners help expand this impact by supporting the following:
- Supporting national training and educational programming.
- Facilitating knowledge exchange across the preparedness community.
- Advancing innovation and modernization of emergency management practices.
- Strengthening collaboration between public and private sector leaders.
A Different Kind of Partnership
The Strategic Preparedness Partner Program is intentionally structured to maintain the integrity, independence, and neutrality of EMAP’s accreditation process. Partners should understand:
- Sponsorship supports education and outreach only.
- There is no influence on standards, accreditation, or Commission decisions.
- Participation does not imply endorsement by EMAP.
- This program is separate from consulting opportunities within EMAP.
This ensures that the Emergency Management Accreditation Program remains a trusted, unbiased authority while enabling meaningful collaboration.
