The EMAP Training Course is an opportunity for emergency management and US&R professionals within emergency management and US&R programs to learn about the Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP), EMAP standards, and preparing their programs for assessment and accreditation.

When & Where is Training?
EMAP will continue to offer virtual and in-person Emergency Management Standard Training throughout 2023 and 2024. Virtual trainings are very similar to previous on-site trainings; they have just been adapted to a virtual environment. Each virtual cohort training is cumulative 20 hours of training. The virtual cohort training registration fee is $350. The quarterly Virtual Cohort Training Schedule is below.

EMAP will be offering on-site Emergency Management Standard Training at the Emergency Management Institute in Emmitsburg, Maryland, on August 13-15, 2024. To register for this course, please visit https://training.fema.gov/apply/ and follow the registration procedures. The Emergency Management Standard Training is E0122 and there are no prerequisites associated with the course.
EMAP is currently providing Programs with the opportunity to choose to host a virtual or on-site Emergency Management Standard Training or a Training & Standard Orientation Workshop.
US&R Standard Trainings

EMAP is currently providing US&R Task Forces with the opportunity to choose to host a virtual or on-site US&R Standard Training.
